Kokomma has over 10 years of non-profit experience working with women and girls in Nigeria; currently, she runs an online Mentoring Hub called Women Mentoring hub. She Coordinates and implements community service projects and programs; and serving in various leadership capacities as a researcher, advocate, and entrepreneur. After graduating from the University, Kokomma volunteered with Idea Builders Initiative (IBI) to promote women empowerment through Agricultural and mentoring programs while working with young people in public schools.
Kokomma was also appointed to head a tree planting project among public schools in Abuja, Lagos and Abia state in Nigeria, which focused on educating the student on Climate change and ways to contribute in protecting the environment.
Kokomma focuses on working with the most vulnerable people in the society being women, girls and children; utilizing innovative approaches in helping tackle issues that affect them and to bring sustainable solutions to these people and their communities. In 2008, she participated in the CEDPA Global Women in Management (GWIM), where she gathered new knowledge on Leadership and Management with innovative ideas and approaches in both the non-profit and corporate sector. Kokomma earned her B.Sc. in Microbiology, specializing in Environment from University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Kokomma is a motivational writer with a passion for encouraging and storytelling. She has written several articles and recently launched her own brand of African Inspired Jewellery and accessories.
